We're proud to share the story of our friend, the extraordinary Vivian Carrington. Ms. Vi, as she was affectionately known by all, was her city's first female African-American lifeguard. She spent decades helping and ministering to the people of her community. While battling lupus, she returned to college to finish her degree and proudly walked across the stage to receive her diploma at the age of 76. Sadly, she passed away last year. Get inspired by Ms. Vi's passion, tenacity and joy.
